The stoning sentence of Zafaran Bibi in Pakistan has been canceled!

After months of stress and fear of dead, Zafaran Bibi is now free of the nightmare of gradual torturing and stoning.  Her rescue is the result of an international protest and efforts of thousands of freedom loving people all around the world. This struggle is a victory for freedom loving people and women’s rights defenders over the Islamic laws that are imposed on millions of people and deprive them from their basic rights.  This gives Zafaran Bibi and millions of women living in the Islam-stricken countries a hope and encouragement and a message that they are not alone in their fights.  This shows that, pushing back the inhumane Islamic laws that interfere people’s private lives is doable.  During last two months the efforts of human and women rights defenders around the world have resulted in cancellation of the stoning of Zafaran Bibi and postponing the stoning of Ameneh Lawal.  But our task hasn’t yet finished.  This is an ongoing campaign until the abolishment of the law of stoning in all the countries ruled by Islamic laws.

Right now in Iran, three women, Sima, Ferdos B and Shahnaz, are waiting to be stoned to death.  This is not the first time that the Islamic regime of Iran has sentenced men and women to death by stoning.  It has been more than two decades that the oppression of women and crime against humanity is going on in Iran.

Human rights and women rights defenders, freedom loving people!

These three women are hoping that the international pressure will save their lives too.  Since last week the International Committee against Stoning has initiated a campaign to save their lives. We ask all of you to join this campaign in order to stop stoning of Sima, Ferdos and Shahnaz.  The Islamic regime of Iran has an active rule in reinforcing the Islamic laws and reproducing the oppression of women.  By putting more pressure on the Islamic regime of Iran and pushing this regime back, our struggle to abolish the law of stoning and retaliation punishment will go forward and effects all the other Islam-stricken countries as well.   JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN.
